Author Thomas Dear's visit to Pershing Elementary

Author, Thomas Dear, had the pleasure of returning to his alma mater, Pershing Elementary, as a guest speaker for their MAP(Missouri Assessment Program) Rally. He helped to encourage the students and spoke on the importance of education. They were really engaged and participated in the discussion. Later, he was informed that the students did exceptionally well on their Map Test. Special thanks to Mrs. Colquitt, Mrs. Davenport, Ms. Daniels, Mrs. Hawkins and the rest of the staff at Pershing Elementary for believing and allowing us this opportunity.
