Author Thomas Dear's visit to Larimore Elementary

Author, Thomas Dear, had an awesome time visiting the students at Larimore Elementary. He read to them his children’s book titled, ‘Teddy Makes Cents.’ He shared with them that he did not like to read when he was their age. He was an average student who didn’t apply himself. Now, he is an author. So, anything is possible when you put your mind to it. Special thanks to illustrator, Demar Douglas, for joining us via Zoom and sharing his story with the students. Also, special thanks to our videographers, Fam Establishment Ent., for capturing a lot of these wonderful moments. Lastly, special thanks to the staff of Larimore Elementary for believing and allowing us this opportunity.
